The master's degree in Oceanography by the University of Cádiz, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the University of Vigo analyses (in an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary manner) the processes that take place in oceans, including shallow seas, continental margins and deep seas, as well as the structures that result from these. This master's degree is offered with a research-based approach and it is especially designed for students looking to access posts of responsibility in institutions and companies related to Oceanography, or hoping to pursue PhD studies in the field of Marine Sciences.


The academic commission of this master's degree will propose to students the supplementary courses they must take, analysing each case on an individual basis and considering, as well as access qualifications, the aspects their CVs contribute in relation to Oceanography. Supplementary courses will depend on the access qualification and include: Physical Oceanography, Chemical Oceanography, Biological Oceanography, Geological Oceanography.
