At the University Campus of ULPGC in Tafira (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), the IU-ECOAQUA has research infrastructures, both in the Basic Sciences Building and in the Legal Sciences Building. In these facilities, the work is conducted mainly by EOMAR and TOTMA researchers.
In the Basic Sciences Building, it is located the ecophysiology laboratories for the research work of the EOMAR group, whereas in the Legal Sciences Building, the researchers assigned to the TOTMA group develop their skills to analyse, discuss and propose knowledge and understanding of environmental jurisprudence, landuse planning and its projection to other economic activities such as tourism.
